But our favorite thing about Geejam is their private beach and the beautiful lagoon outside it. Grab a couple of paddleboards and you are bound to see lots of turtles enjoying the crystal clear waters and if you're lucky you might spot a jumping eagle ray. For the more adventurous the reef outside the beach is a fantastic spot for snorkeling and the bay has become quite the dive site after a wreck was sunk there to create an artificial reef.
If your idea of a perfect vacation is shopping and barhopping this part of Jamaica is probably not for you. But if you dream of untouched, white sandy beaches, crystal clear turquoise waters, swimming with turtles or just chilling out with a cold Red Stripe with some old school reggae in the background, you have probably found the place of your dreams.
