Aqua Expeditions operates several expeditions around the world. One of these takes place along the exotic Mekong River, flowing from Myanmar and Laos in the north, through Cambodia, and into the southern parts of Vietnam.

Onboard the expedition ferry, there are 20 spacious suites (eight even have balconies), allowing for a maximum capacity of 40 people. The boat's floor-to-ceiling windows provide panoramic views of the stunning nature you'll pass by. Naturally, you'll have access to fabulous onboard dining, as well as an outdoor cinema, a library, gym, and a dedicated spa - to name a few. The 40-person crew ensures you have everything you need, whether you're on a small land expedition to get a closer look at the river dolphins that inhabit the area or visiting the Angkor Wat temple. Because this adventure isn't just about nature. The Mekong has played a central role in this part of the world for over 2000 years. On this cruise, you'll witness the incredible history surrounding the river, from the Khmer empire to Theravada Buddhists in today's modern Cambodia and Vietnam.

The Mekong Delta is an intricate network of rivers, swamps, marshes, and jungle. The area is extremely fertile, hence its rich wildlife and plant life. During the journey along the river, you'll frequently encounter pockets teeming with green vegetation while spotting bird and animal species unique to this region.

Along the way, you have the opportunity to experience this fantastic landscape from a bicycle seat. Since it's relatively flat, it's excellent for cycling, and Aqua Expeditions provides top-of-the-line Cannondale bikes. You can also paddle in kayaks or take a tuk-tuk to the nearest local silk maket.

The journey spans over seven nights and goes between Ho Chi Minh and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
